REPORT: Your paycheck is 54% higher when you get free online training
 
The OECD (The Organization for Economic Development) issued its annual report, Education at a Glance on September 12, 2006.
 
It’s official. The US is now #11 (it used to be #1) in high school graduation rates.

Here’s the worse part: Adults who finish high school earn 54% more than the 1/3 of Americans under age 35 who don’t finish high school. Older Americans, (above 35) have higher high school graduation rates (translation: America is getting dumber) making it the first time in history that our children are worse off than their parents.

FACT: 44% of Americans without high school degrees are considered “low income”.

The report recommends that the only way to “save” a huge chunk of the adult population in the United States is to get these people into adult education and job training. Without this, high school dropouts will only see their financial and personal situation get worse as the economy demands more and more education to run new technology.

 FACT: Americans with a college education are earning 72% more than high school graduates
 
That means that a college graduate is earning 2.65 times what a high school drop-out makes.
